What is the estimated delivery time?

We partnered with The Courier Guy to make all of our local shipments

● Orders made in the Cape Town area on Sunday to Thursday before 13:00 qualify for next-day delivery or 1 business day.

● All orders in other main Metro areas will be delivered within 2 and 3 business days.

● Rural areas might require a longer time and depend on The Courier Guy’s service.

Please note: Shipping times may vary over festive periods and on Black Friday.

What are shipping costs?

All orders over R1,000 qualify for free shipping. All orders under R1,000 will be charged a shipping fee of R100.

Do you ship over weekends?

No. The Courier Guy does not ship over weekends.

Can I track my order?

You can track your order with the tracking code you receive per email from The Courier Guy.

How do I change my shipping address after placing an order?

If you’ve entered the wrong shipping details or made an error. Please contact us via email at info@kitchensamurai.co.za or phone or WhatsApp at +27 79 199 4057. We will correct the
address with the couriers.

What happens if I'm away during delivery?

The Courier Guy will make numerous attempts to contact you when they’re delivering your parcel. If they fail to reach you, they will schedule the delivery for the next day.

Payments

What payment methods do you accept?

We offer the following payment options

● Payfast – Debit and Credit Cards

● Float – This is a payment method that leverages your Credit Cards. The options available are payment over 2 to 6 months at 0% interest.

● EFT/Bank Transfer – This is a manual payment you must do via your banking platform. Please use the order number as the reference when making EFT/Bank Transfer payments.

How do I know if my payment was successful?

You will receive a confirmation email from Kitchen Samurai and Payfast or Float as soon as payment has been received.
If you opt to pay via EFT, you will receive an email with your order details and our banking details. We will send you a confirmation email once the funds are reflected in our bank account.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes. All payments are made via secure payment portals. We do not save any payment details on our side.

Can I change or cancel my order after making a payment?

Yes, you can cancel your order if you contact us within a reasonable time before we ship the product. We will refund your payment as soon as we receive the instructions to do so.

Do you offer gift cards or vouchers?

Yes, we do offer gift vouchers. You can arrange for gift vouchers by sending an email to info@kitchensamurai.co.za or by phone or WhatsApp at +27 79 199 4057.

Can I get an invoice or receipt for my payment?

Yes, we can arrange for an invoice. If you need a formal tax invoice, please request it by sending an email to info@kitchensamurai.co.za.

International Orders

Do you offer international shipping?

Yes, we do offer international shipping. We partnered with DHL Express to do all of our international shipments.

Which countries do you ship to?

We ship to all countries except the United Kingdom, Russia and Belarus.

What are the shipping costs for international orders?

Costs are calculated per knife or item ordered. Up to three knives will have the same shipping cost. More than three knives will marginally increase the cost. The cost will be calculated before checkout and payment.

Are there import duties and taxes for international orders?

Yes, you are responsible for the duties and taxes in your country. Please determine what duties and taxes you should adhere to before placing the order. Taxes can be claimed in your country by requesting a SAD500 form from DHL.

How long does international delivery take?

International delivery is estimated to be between 5 and 10 working days.

Do international orders come with tracking?

You can track your order with the tracking code you receive per email from DHL Express.
