This set is most probably the best value and performance you can buy. So good to see them on the shelf again. It looks the part and represents all the visual aspects represented by a Japanese knife and because it is so thin behind the edge cuts like a dream.We have a set that we use literally every day for the past year . Extremely sharp out of the box and although being used every day I only had to strop them twice to maintain a super sharp edge . I cannot recommend these knifes enough. You will love them
